Covid-19 health warning in Spain…
To protect your health, the Government of Spain has implemented a series of measures to protect the general public’s health, including health control of passengers upon arrival in Spain. From this website you can fill out the health control form and obtain your QR Code, to show it at the control points upon arrival in Spain. Your health is the priority.
REMEMBER: When traveling, please check with your airline before going to the airport and remember that the use of a mask is mandatory in all public outdoor and enclosed areas if it is not possible to maintain the safety distance to keep. Follow the hygiene measures, keep a physical distance of 1.5 meters from everyone and collect your luggage individually.
If you travel to Spain from the U.K.
From 1 December 2021, only fully vaccinated Britons will be allowed to travel to Spain, because the same rules apply to the United Kingdom as to other countries outside the European Union. There are 38.7 million residents in the UK who are fully vaccinated and can therefore travel to Spain without any problems. But there are about 28 million Britons who have not been vaccinated and will therefore no longer be allowed to travel to Spain from 1 December.
The most affected tourist regions in Spain are the Canary Islands, Andalusia, especially the Costa del Sol and the Valencia region, especially the Costa Blanca, where many Brits traditionally go on holiday or visit their second home.
One of the reasons for tightening this entry requirement is the arrival of the new corona variant Omicron, which is rapidly spreading from South Africa to the rest of the world. The European Union, and therefore also Spain, is therefore taking measures with regard to countries outside the EU.
