B&B El Refugio
Loving music, mountains and high peaks, nature, hiking, culture, sun, traveling to distant places and adventure, we have found our place here at the foot of the Maroma at Alcaucín, Axarquía, West of Málaga. Ria (Adriana) was born and raised in Berghem (North Brabant) and was raised with music. She turned her hobby – playing the clarinet – into her profession. In addition to making a lot of music herself, she gave clarinet lessons and for the past 7 years she has also been a music teacher full of passion for the classroom in primary education. Here in Spain, music is a hobby again and she is happy to tell you passionately about the many beautiful things that can be found here.Jan Theun is from Burgum in Friesland, studied business economics in Groningen and then worked in many places as an independent (project) controller. After an adventurous internship in Paris (1992), a world tour in 2002-2003, he now thought it was time for a new international adventure together with his ‘habibi’ Adriana. Together we enjoy creating a beautiful and pleasant place B&B El Refugio where everyone can feel at home and relax.
